Beautiful photography. Stupid mistakes made by young guys who are not wearing helmets. Reading his blog it appears they now recognize those mistakes. Now, don't repeat those mistakes. I believe that's how we all progress/grow.

I might have missed it, but did anyone notice a pull cord for that last rap?

Things I learned on the internet, today:
When participating in the extreme sport of canyoneering, always seek refuse from a flash flood in the watercourse.I'm not Spartacus
It'll come back.

Had the same happen to us in 1999. We didn't stay in the watercourse, but rather scrambled up and left to get out of the watercourse. There were 2 on rappel when the flash came from Behunin. The initial waterfall was just the short watershed from Mt. Majestic. When the flash hit from within Behunin, the area under the rappel filled with swirling water and threatened to wash us into the watercourse, hence the scramble up and left to get out.

LOL, it started flashing on them for last rap, so they STAY in waterway and just decide to hide under a large boulder? Almost Darwin award worthy.
Your safety is not my responsibility.

These guys don't have to check with the water district before heading to Kolob.
