Various Zion/Escalante Canyons Sept 17th onwards

    Ahoy Bogleyites!

Maarten and I will again be in southern Utah in two weeks time. I'd say we're a fairly fit and fast-moving team, but always happy to stop for important things: taking photos, lunch, etc.

So if anyone wishes to join us for a wander through the following canyons, feel free to get in touch.*

    Tue 17th Sept Echo
Tue 17th Sept Keyhole (at night)
    Wed 18th Sept Behunin
    Thu 19th Sept Spry

Did all these routes together May last year, but feel they are worth revisiting... yes, even Behunin!

Monday 23rd we'll drive to Escalante, where nothing is set in stone except driving back to Vegas the following Friday.
Coyote Dry Fork, Neon, Egypt 3 (and maybe Choprock) are on the list of potential victims.

    Cheers,

    Michael.
*We have a group already set for Pine Creek/Fri and then Imlay/Sat.

Yeaha, we'll be in Utah soon....
Who will join us, exchanging some European-American cultural aspects while we are discovering the pristine beauty of the Utah canyons....

    I myself can hardly wait.....

Hey guys, be sure to hit up the new Gorging Canyoneering movie on the 19th @ 7pm at the Springdale Zion Theater. It's definitely worth your time.

Wish I could tag along, sounds fun!

    Maarten? Burning Maarten???
Are you the guy that came with us down jump canyon last week?
It's also rumored that you did 13 hula hoppers at once while at burning man, but that may be only a rumor...

Me Nivalda and some other friends will be in Zion doing canyon from Sep 19th to Sep 22nd. Maybe we'll see you there.

You know there's the ACA Canyon Rendezvous in Zion that week right?
There's a screening of Gorging (canyoneering Imax Documentary) on Sep 19th that we will try to attend to, with social happy hour with filming crew and canyoneers afterwords.
On 20th we do Dasboot+Subway (full), then Englestead (full) and the we want to do Kolob on Sep 22nd (2 spots).
With recent rains that is questionable, but we will try.

    Cheers
    -Luca

Thanks for reminder! Good time to avoid Zion.

Nah its a great time to hit up Zion, you just gotta hit up the lesser travelled canyons like icebox, full upper left fork, right fork, checkerboard, etc. Its easy to get a crew to do these too since there are lots of canyoneers willing to join you.
