Your experience is an excellent comparison, I remember your story vividly. Thankful we did not have to pass a knot.

    Thanks for the kind words!

Pretty crazy that, and I am glad it all worked out.

But seriously, either learn to read a map, or carry a GPS. Please.

Hey Slot, chillax. (Chill out and relax). I'm not trying to dis you. I'm not trying to say anything other than what I said - I was "pretty sure" which means that I am not sure. However, your description, maps and photos made me "pretty sure". Could I have been in another drainage? Sure. Is is likely? After much closer look at the last rap photos, Yep, it is likely. As I recall, the last rap we had was a steeper "V" slot. So there you go. I'm not sure why you took such offense to my post, I assure, none was intended. When I said I had been there, that was true. I had been in the very same area - but maybe not the exact drainage. When I said "done that" I was referring to descending an unintended drainage - yep, just like you, I too made a mistake. So it is all good.

Because it is patently douchey to discredit a FD with a "pretty sure" statement. Please sort those foggy memories out first, then post.

    Mistake acknowledgment... acknowledged. We're good.

Thought I'd post a video of Messin' Around, a fun little canyon.

Hope you enjoy and for best results set the picture quality to 1080.

Senor Bike Helmet, here is the secret formula for pissing yourself off:

    1. Publish something good.
    2. Watch people crap on it.
    3. Fight back.

I'm not saying I'm a victim. That is just how it works.
