Coconino County SAR Fundraiser

American Canyoneers is holding two fundraising events for the Coconino County Search and Rescue team. The funds will be used to purchase rescue gear for the all volunteer team and to provide canyon specific rescue training to a few team members. If you're in Arizona, please come help your local SAR team help you if you're ever in a jam. American Canyoneers is also organizing another event to benefit one of the Utah SAR teams. More information on the Utah effort soon.

We expect this will sell out quickly. Two showings:

Flagstaff, AZ - September 17th
Tempe, AZ - September 18th

In addition to showings of the films 'Down the Line' and 'Last of the Great Unknown', members of SAR will recount the incredible rescue they performed last year in Insomnia Canyon and Joe DeSalme will recount the first descent of the canyon in 2005.
