Sheesh. I wonder if that is involuntary manslaughter. Stringing it across the trail? C'mon....

I wonder if it was at head level or something.

It wasn't strung across the trail. It was just strung between two big trees in a grassy area of campus. The area of the slack line is commonly used for the sport.

how fast was he going in order to induce cardiac arrest? Methinks too fast, not uncommon for some cyclists.

Cyclist dies after hitting slack line

I wonder if the line had been left unattended, in which case, it would constitute negligence on the part of the slack-liners. My initial thought was that the cyclist caught the line across the chest and it ripped him off the bike then the elasticity and energy stored in the line then threw him to the ground, inducing a head injury. But I guess they are citing cardiac arrest as the cause of death. I'd be curious to hear more details. I enjoy both activities. Just a freak accident. Really sad
