I posted a review somewhere, but the long and short of it is that the wildfires are now my favorite shoe for everything. The wildfires have done exceptionally well in canyons. The next pair of outdoor shoes I buy will be Salewa. I'm converted. The wildfires are hands down the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. They feel like they were molded in place around my feet. After a handful of canyons including shenanigans, they look hardly worse for the wear. This should be the new benchmark canyon shoe.

Do they fit true to size? Are they wider like 5.10 shoes or skinnier like La Sportivas?

I am interested, but I havent seen them ina store in AZ to try on.

True to size. They have a 3 piece footbed that allows you to run the shoe a little wide or narrow if you like. I have a size 9, wide, high arch, high instep foot. I use the narrow foot/standard insoles with no issue, even with 3mm neo socks. The fact that they lace to the toe allows so much adjustability along the entire length of your forefoot that swapping or removing insoles isn't necessary, except when wearing my 5mm socks.

I really have nothing bad to say about these shoes. I highly recommend them and will be buying another pair when, in the distant future, these wear out..

Other major canyons done in these shoes include a one day FULL Imlay and The Squeeze. Both full days with no complaints regarding my feet. If those two plus shenanigans are test piece canyons for shoes, I don't what are.
