    Zion Narrows top down hike

So I rolled into Zion a bit more than a week ago to enjoy a vacation. On the list of things to do was to hook up with Ross, a Bogley member who put up an invite to the Narrows hike...he was looking for a partner, just for safety's sake.

I've done that hike several times...the last being 10 years ago. I was happy to see that those that either camp in the canyon or rip through the whole thing in a day are taking care of it. It looks good in there. It does start to get ugly though, once you get past the mouth of Orderville...and I wish I could say that Orderville looks good too, but that's another story.

Anyway, here are a bunch of pics and a shout out to my pasty white office nerd straight from the middle of London kick ass hiker Ross!

Thanks for the report and photos Byron. One of my best day hikes ever, but perhaps I should have lost those glasses a bit sooner as they are a bit nerdy - and the Kelsey cancer curtain isn't too attractive either.

Oh, you're fine...after all that time out there in the desert I'm sure you're friends back in England were amazed by your healthy glow. Isn't that something? Visit America and come back a different color!

That last picture is when it started to rain, remember that Spanish couple in the distance running for their lives?

yeah, I remember, well that's what the rangers warn you about, so I might have done the same if I was alone and it wasn't so many miles to run! Did you see the PM just in case you're interested or might know a friend who might be.
