Trailwork Day July 20th- Mill Canyon #040 Trail
Trailwork Day
American Fork Canyon- Mill Canyon #040 Trail
Trail maintenance on the #040 trail. The new section is starting to get rutted and we would like to knock off the outside berm to help keep water from accumulating on the trail. Supervised by the Forest Service trail crew.
General information-
Meeting location: The upper Mill Canyon trailhead. Located at the top of Forest Service Road #180, accessed from the Cascade Springs road.
Project Start Time: 9:00am
End Time: 3:00pm
What to bring: Bring a lunch and lots of water, work gloves, snacks.
What to wear: Long pants, long sleeved shirt, closed-toe boots or shoes (no sandals)
Forest Service Road #180 is a dirt road that can be driven up in an SUV, truck or motorcycle (cars not recommended). ATV's are NOT allowed on this road.
If you come late, park on the ridge-line and hike down the #040 trail. We'll be somewhere in the switchback section.
Are we there yet?

These always seem to fall on the days that I am out of town. I'll be at Fish Lake with family. Tks for helping with this @tallsteve so the rest of us can enjoy it through the summer.
