Lost Sunglasses in Lower Blue Johns
We had a great week in Robbers Roost. Tuesday, we drove down from Utah County and did the Goblins Lair/Chamber of the Basilisk in Goblin Valley. The Cavern is great and just the right length after the drive.
Wednesday was the main fork of Blue Johns which took awhile due to the large size of our group and one member of our party brought his Down syndrome son. Before I get the "what we're you thinking" comments. He regularly climbs with his dad and was regularly hiking 5+ miles in preparation. He was inspiring and it was a privilege to help him through.
I didn't want anyone to miss the Ralston narrows, so we did the West Fork/Lower Blue John's. it was great, like always. There was thigh deep water in the canyon which I've never seen before. One member of our group took off his hat at the Horseshoe canyon drop off and lost his sunglasses over the edge. If anyone finds them, please let me know and we can arrange to get them returned.
we capped off the trip with a visit to the Great Gallery. Overall a great trip....
