Saturday, June 1, 2013: Hike Mt. Raymond from Butler Fork Trailhead in Big Cottonwood

new member; first post (so be gentle). Hiked Mt. Raymond saturday; perfect day and good conditions.

The hike started as pleasantly as always in the shade of canopy, cool in the morning, the sun having not yet crested the surrounding peaks. The stream was running and was a nice companion for the incline that gets one started up the grade on the single track trail.

Meadows were green and wide, the wildflowers not yet out, and the aspen not yet in full leaf. Past the fork for Dog
