Bugs in The Swell?
Did anyone happen to do The Squeeze/Cable/Knotted/Quandary this past weekend? If so, were bugs a problem? I've heard they can be bad this time of year...

I didn't go this year, but when I've been down there before in may, the bugs were starting to get annoying. It should be pretty buggy for the next 3-4 weeks. The cedar gnats come on a little later than the flies, the transition between pests should be about now. When you're on the trail, they shouldn't be too bad, but a headnet and long pants will make camp much more pleasant.
