I've never even considered Hidden Passage/Music Temple as a canyon destination...I'll have to check it out to see how much of a canyon you have to go through before it hits the lake! I've been up it in my boat, of course.
Three nights isn't enough time to get deep down, towards the San Juan arm where all this action is. You could rip up to West from Antelope in that time, as that canyon is a destination unto itself. Kelsey rates it Number 1 for a reason. The narrows section, in the upper end, is equivalent to the Zion Narrows, and it goes on forever.The end of the world for some...
