Showers in Blanding
There is probably a better place to post this, but I'm not sure where, so...
My daughter and I will be spending the next two weeks in SE Utah. We'll camp, but will need to re-provision occasionally, most likely (and most often) in Blanding. What's the best place to get a shower there? Bluff may be an option earlier in the trip too.
Thanks!

I'm not sure if there's a place that you can buy a shower there...perhaps one of the gas stations doubles as a truck stop? I always stay at the Gateway Inn, as it's right across the street from a good place to eat, the steak house. The Gateway is pretty cheap, like $65 a night.
However, there's a place that's super cheap, like $35, it's right behind the grocery store/A+W, just west of the main intersection. I think it's called the Stonelizard? If you're not looking to stay in a room, then perhaps pick up a couple solar showers...just a few hours of sunlight and they work really well. But I'm sure you know that. Maybe look into the truck stop thing...The end of the world for some...

I just checked it out...maybe contact the Blue Mnt. RV Park. That looks like it may be the only "shower buy" option, if they have it.

Seems you could do it cheaper at the public pool if they've opened for the season.
Only showing the 2012 schedule still, though. http://www.blanding-ut.gov/index.php...n.swimmingpool

How close will you he to Halls Crossing? I thought they had showers at the camp ground on the south shore.
