Looking for Canyon Partners
I'm looking for a few competent canyon partners for the next two weekends and also for the next two months. I'm interested in the Cedar Mesa area, Zion, and the Swell mostly. Nothing too crazy but many that I'm interested in are wet canyons. Anyone interested or also looking for new partners?

Zak,
This weekend we are doing a canyon in Dinosaur, which isn't too far from you. If you are interested, let me know.
Also, near the end of June, I'd really like to do Pleiades Canyon:

I also wanted to canoe the Moab Daily same weekend.
I wouldn't mind doing something like Segers Hole/Sqeeze in June, but I'm already booked up for May.
Sadly, Zion is probably too far for me to get away to anytime soon. :(Utah is a very special and unique place. There is no where else like it on earth. Please take care of it and keep the remaining wild areas in pristine condition. The world will be a better place if you do.

Let me know when you are going to be in the Zion area, I can usually break away for a day two.

I'd say come here and run canyons.. our canyons are SUPER wet. In fact not a single canyon for the most part; has ever seen a hundred people. No more than 2 dozen in most. Too bad its Maui

PS, SpiderZak, Kessler and I failed on our attempted Dinosaur Canyon today. On the plus side, we found a super dark slot that you needed a headlamp (it eventually got too tight for anyone to fit through and actually went under ground), and discovered a nice double arch and a larger arch with a 100 foot span. Very rugged and rough terrain today though and I don't know if I'll ever try that approach again. We didn't get to do the canyon we wanted, but still had fun.Utah is a very special and unique place.
