Bomb Scare at Roy Elementary

OK so before you facepalm and say to yourself, "Oh no, not another one", give this story a good read because you'll either be chuckling or rolling your eyes.

This comes the same week of some other bomb threats in the area, so tensions were already a little high.

I work with "somebody" at "a school", and last night they delivered a trailer full of "certain goods" to be sold at Roy Elementary today. It was planned and broadcast to the public that this sale would happen today. The items were in the trailer that were dropped off last night.

"Certain unnamed people" at Roy Elementary didn't recognize the trailer when they came in this morning, called the police.

The police called the Bomb Squad.

The Bomb Squad shut down the main roads surrounding the school, this morning.

The lock to the trailer is cut. Pots and pans are found inside. Coincidentally the same pots, pans and cookware to be sold today.

After all is said and done, the biggest apology I've read through a series of emails is "We are sorry about the pad lock that was destroyed and we will replace it".

I expect this to be on the local news. Good stuff.
