The problem with liberals is they come in slinging a sledgehammer when a flyswatter and a bit of finesse will do.

I'm a fan of "Go big or go home" but sometimes restraint and moderation are attributes. They can't seem to figure that out.

I hope they finally get a ban on Coke and Mentos.

But on a more serious note--The Boston bombers apparently got there bomb making ingredients from deconstructed fireworks.

So if they impose some kind of ban on gunpowder(text of bill not yet available)that would effectively ban bullets as they can be deconstructed in seconds.

More stupidity from those who are clueless. You can create a pressure cooker bomb using stick matches as the propellant. Or you can just apply a lethal layer of shrapnel to your BBQ's propane tank for a really nice bomb.

And I have a question for anyone with real knowledge on this. Why do the terrorists mix match heads with sugar at a 4 (match heads) to 1 (sugar) ratio? What does the suger do to increase the explosion?

It makes for a pretty sweet fireball

There was an old trick during Vietnam where you would put a bag of flour on top of a land mine and bury the whole thing on a road where military vehicles would travel. When the mine went off it would blow the flour into the air, causing the flour to ignite into a massive fireball.
