    Water canyon question

what's peoples' experience with ascending/descending water canyon with dogs? sounds narrow with steep drop offs but is it fairly safe for a sure footed/four footed companion?

    Thanks,
    Debby

You can go to the first couple waterfalls, but that's about it. Unless they are small dogs and you can physically pick them up. you're looking at probably a 30 min nice hike. Still worth it IMO. I got a couple pitbulls and would NOT make it that far into the canyon proper. But there is a nice stream on the way with a nice trail. Plus some pools to play in.

Thanks so much for that essential information. We'll stick to squirrel canyon in and out. The boarder collie can go anywhere do anything. Its the dane that poses the challenge.

Thanks again, the members of Bogley are a wealth of helpful information!!
