Knolls with the Kids
Myself, a few friends and our kids spent last Saturday at Knolls. We took them all out to "The Rocket" and it gave me an opportunity to get these cool photos.
It was a blizzard coming through Tooele, but was clear and dry further west. It was about 40 degrees with not much wind, so it was more than bearable.
It was a great time except for a couple of wrecks. Unfortunately one involved an adult rider who augered into the sand while jumping a dune.
He ended up with a separated Clavicle, 10 broken ribs and a punctured lung. The good news is that he didn't require a breathing tube and will recover fine.
Anyway, back to the brighter side. These kids are little speed demons! They sure are fun to watch.

Right on bro.
Time can not be taken away from a dude riding with his family.
Now give my ass a call and talk to me about next week.If you want to ride let's ride and if you want an attitude well we just need to do some more ridding.

I talked to Glen today and apparently it was all of the ribs on one side. He completely tore all of the muscle and tendons in his shoulder and also broke some back bones. Add the punctured lung and I believe he is the injury winner. I hate to turn the post into a downer, but it's a good reminder how easily this can happen. One of the young kids went over the bars as well and gave everyone a scare, be he ended up OK.
