    02/22/13 - Yankee Doodle

Jeff Guest and gang took a few canyon virgins though their first technical canyon, and Yankee was first on the list!

He has the GoPro3 and has tried some new filming techniques. Hope you all enjoy!

    Quoting from the Youtube Vid:
"Yankee Doodle is a fun beginner canyon with 2 rappels, multiple down climbs. and some stemming involved. The first rappel is 30ft and the second rappel is 100ft. You can string the 2 rappels together with one 200ft rope and pick it up on the way back or you can pull your 200ft rope after each rappel and carry it through the canyon. There are times when the canyon has lots of visitors and you may want to pull your rope, but if its not the busy season, you can leave your rope like we did. If you do pull your rope please wrap some webbing around the tree so you don't hurt the tree when pulling your rope.

I filmed this canyon with my GoPro HERO3 Black Edition on the 1080p at 60fps setting. It was then edited with iMovie. My GoPro was mounted on a GoScope to get all of the shots. Get yours at http://go-scope.com/store/goscope-go...escoping-pole/"
