Best time to hike Buckskin

I only have two weeks I can hike/backpack Buckskin. The last full week of March or Thanksgiving week. Which is best of the two as far as weather and water on the trail? I realize either week can bring sunny, nice temps, sand storms or snow blizzards. Just trying to figure out which week 'might' be better.

Any suggestions to add other canyons to this one at the same time?

Try a different plan - hike the Wire Pass end as a day trip, then drive over to Middle the next day and do the mid region by entering end exiting via Middle - so you have two Day Trips and much of the good stuff. Love those light day packs.

Nothing compares to the complete through hike... in at Wire Pass and out at White House something new around every turn and nothing repeated. And you have completed what some consider the worlds longest slot canyon.

I'd do March over November.

The day trip idea sounds great if I had limited time, but since I'll have a week to spare, I planned to do the multi-day backpack through hike. Think I'll plan for March 2014 to have more time to prepare and apply for permits. I'm about permit-exhausted for this spring between a Yosemite backpack and Zion trip already in the works.

Maybe I could take a few days this March to hike some slot canyons. Does anyone know of any non-technical canyons more on the east side of Utah other than the list below which I have already done?
I also included the non-slot canyons that I have already done. Would rather hit just slots this time.

The Black Hole is one of the finest non-tech slot canyons on the planet. Looking at your list I think you could do it. Just beg, borrow, steal, rent, or buy a wetsuit.
