Canyoning Australia Butterbox Canyon Bluemountains
I lived in Australia for a bit, and I went canyoning a couple of times. If you are ever close to the blue mountains, it is something I recommend. Lots of fun and great scenery. Though take it from me, go with a guide. It is easy to disorient yourself, especially on the first go.

Wow!! Great lookin' canyon! Thanks for sharing. It appears the anchoring techniques are a little different than what is typically used in the U.S. as evidenced by the knotted rope around that bark-stripped tree in pic#3 .
So you no longer reside in Australia then? It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

Very true, trust me, the rest of the knots and anchors used for rappel were better. Don't ask me what happened with this one. I didn't do it, fortunately it worked well. No longer in Aussie land, I am now in Honduras.
