X-Country Winter Trails Day Tomorrow
Tomorrow is Winter Trails Day http://www.snowlink.com/wintertrails/findasite.aspx. A few areas in Utah (Ogden Valley Nordic Center, Soldier Hollow, Bear Lake) will be offering free x-country ski lessons, free gear rental and free course passes to those beginner folks looking to get into the sport. If you've been wanting to try out this awesome winter activity, this is a great opportunity. I'm always asked by friends to help them get started and I always recommend they go rent gear for a day or two to make sure they'll like it. Tomorrow you can do it for FREE! I did this 2 seasons ago and learned more in that 2 hour lesson than I had figured out on my own in the previous two years!
Are we there yet?

Hmm now how to convince the wife that driving to Midway to ski before a night on the town is a good idea..
Tacoma Said - If Scott he asks you to go on a hike, ask careful questions like "Is it going to be on a trail?" "What are the chances it will kill me?" etc. Maybe "Will there be sack-biting ants along the way?"

Sounds great, if only I weren't working a 12-hour shift on Saturday!
