    Dean Potter: Moonwalk

(CBS News) This week we've hit on record-breaking feats of the extreme. And we've hit on heart-racing and thrill-seeking feats of the extreme. But have we touched on serene or meditative feats of the extreme? Is that even possible? The above video answers with a resounding "yes".

The stunningly beautiful video has athlete Dean Potter demonstrating slacklining with an amazing shot of the moon and cliffs in the background (and tranquil music by Will Bolton) is entitled "Moonwalk" and was posted by Vimeo user Bryan Smith who writes about the work:

The ultimate full moon shot. Dean Potter walks a highline at Cathedral Peak as the sun sets and the moon rises. Shot from over 1 mile away with a Canon 800mm and 2X by Michael Schaefer.

Who would have thought you could find serenity in the extreme? I guess you live and learn. A big triple-rainbow salute of excellence goes out to Dean Potter, Bryan Smith and Michael Schaefer from us here at The Feed for this wonderful work that walks the fine line (almost literally) between thrilling and reflective! And if you'd like to check out more amazing work or learn more about any of them, be sure to click on their names to go to their respective websites.

I love slacklining and I wish I was better at it. If Dean Potter wouldn't of climbed delicate arch, Id like him a whole lot more. On a side note... this is amazing.
