    Mount Raymond 1/4/13

Hiked mt raymond with my bro on 1/4/13. Great conditions, lots of back country ski tracks in the area. We snowshoed from Butlers trailhead in Big Cottonwood. Snow was solid enough to support snow shoes all the way up until the last 1/8 mile towards the summit. We saw one sympathetic avalanche on the side of Gobblers Knob that happened the day before. The sky was blue with lots of sun, unilke the air in the valley. Name: 734748_3769793738275_2010406014_n[1].jpg

Very nice! Although, I don't think I'd be able to go that far without skiing down!

True, I seriously wish I had some skis on this one, there were to skiers on the mountain having a great time.
