    Chevy vs. VW

This is getting too funny. Maybe GM should have kept their truck plant in the US

    LOL!
Your safety is not my responsibility.

That is actually how most pulls go.... the first one to hop or spin their tires loses. It's more about maintaining traction then anything else...

In the Dodge vs Chevy video everyone says the Chevy never tried, but he was waiting for the Dodge to spin or hop and it never happened.

I say that it was rigged. That truck is heavier than the car.

It's not about weight... its about traction.

But that being said I believe the truck was only in 2WD as it didn't appear the front tires were digging, but it was hard to tell from the video as you only got a short clip of the front tires.

Not a fake. I went to the Duramax forum and these two are battling it out. Apparently, the CHEV broke tie-rods and had to be towed home. And Axe is correct, it's all about who gets traction first. Odd considering the Chev driver was saying he was putting his truck into 4Lo -- couple that with his weight advantage and he should have pulled the VW in half. Ah, sad CHEV's..

Like Ice said, I didn't see the front end turning either, but hard to tell.

The VW has some kinda fancy locking diffs. Notice in the video how with one wheel in the air it spins a half a turn and locks. Hard to beat a vehicle with all 4 wheels pulling...
