White Rock Canyon (Maui) Left fork - First Descent.

So the route we usually run in "White Rock", is the right fork. We always run this, but I figure its time to finally run the other side. This is probably the most painful 2hrs of hiking ever. Very crumbly dirt, soft slippery underbrush, and just stupidly steep. We crossed the stream, and climbed up another ridge to do the other fork.

This is a very very low water day, so perfect to run the main stream, that sees a stupid amount of water when running. Turns out there really wasn't much. A small 8ft rappel, and a small jump into a narrow pool. We did get to sit on the top of a 120footer that is absolutely gorgeous though. Real narrow and ends at a nice pothole. This is the confluence.. so the rest of the canyon was pretty easy on. Still awesome views though.

You and the other Maui boys have been doing a lot of there. Even though it was short, it looks like a fun adventure though. Thanks for sharing!
