    10/20/12 - Subway - Russell Gulch

    Sorry for being a slacker, but I finally got around to posting these here.

    Jeff, myself, and the gang finally were able to do the Russell Gulch approach on video.

    However, we took a detour too soon and added an "extra" rap to the already known 3 raps (it's the 1st rap in video).

    The last rappel was probably the funnest. Russell Gulch adds some variety for sure, but it's not a every-time descent type of thing IMO.

    We ran into another group descending Russell at the 1st rap, which made the going slow as it was their first time in and needed some assistance...



    ....but, at least do Russell Gulch once in your Subway descents.
