Let's talk coolant and running temps for a spell.

    I'll start this with-
    Evans coolant-
    Then water wetter-
Then just what is prime operating temps-
    ???
Feel free to educate my arse on fans as well.

But please let's stay away from oils cause that is a head ache that is non resolveable :~)
If you want to ride let's ride and if you want an attitude well we just need to do some more ridding.

I use Engine Ice. Evans is supposed to be very good. Either one should work fine.

I used engine ice in the YZ but I went to a Red stuff that Toyota uses on all the stuff they make with the BRP.
    Very alu-alloy friendly for corrosion.
I'd have to run to the shed as I forget the name of it and it is just OK as I learned out at Logandale when I pushed the BRP hard in deep sand in the first to second gear stuff for way to long.
But that bike has a recovery system so it's all good.

This is one that my friend says the Local KTM dealer only uses and he has been a mechanic/owner of his own shop for over 35 years.
So does anyone here use this or maybe have heard of it?

I picked up a gln. but I think I'll waist till spring to change it out.
I did pick up a tank sock today. They are not cheap that's for sure but the boys at KTM also suggested an inline fuel filter that was steel and looked like something for a car FI.
I know this bike comes with a plastic one that needs to be cleaned out from time to time but he said some where having injector issues and once they used this steel filter never had anymore problems.

Jury is out on coolants. I'm sure that one will be great.
Alot of people on the KTM/Husa forums use the added inline filter. Its a CanAm filter. Anything you can do to help the fuel is worth it. I haven't touched my plastic filter yet and at 103 hrs, no signs of trouble.
BUY STARTRON fuel additive. Add a capful to each fill up. You won't regret it. Any ?, look on the forums.
