Puerto Rico votes for statehood.
While you idiots were all busy arguing about POTUS, this slipped under the radar.
Oh, and there isn't a chance in hell I'm wandering down to Political to check for this. That place scares me.
So, thoughts? It will take an act of congress to make them so, but both Mittens and Obambam promised to support the referendum.
My thoughts:
1) Good for them, I agree. Pay federal taxes!
2) 51? You guys are screwing up our nice round numbers!
3) There go all our flags.
4) Sweet! MLB would no longer be dominated by non-Americans.

I've read threads where Texas is waiting for Puerto Rico to join the union so it can secede without requiring a change to the US Flag!
