    Marijuana Legalized

You guys have missed that Colorado and Washington legalized recreational marijuana. While I'm not a toker I thinks this is a good thing. They should legalize all drugs, force users to register, and tax the hell out of it.

By legalizing marijuana you can eliminate the income stream for a lot of criminal elements.

By forcing registration you can pin-point your criminals, I mean really, if a guy has a $300 a day habit and no job it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out where the money is flowing from.

By taxing it you can fund a lot of programs, both drug related and elsewhere.

To me legalizing drugs is a no-brainer.... I don't see why others have a hard time figuring it out.

    Those who want get: Oxycodone/Oxycontin

    Those who need get: Motrin/Tylenol

The drug policies in this country are all f**ed up. That said, I believe it is only a matter of time until pot is legalized all across the board, licensed, and sold like alcohol. Much of the reason why it's not legalized currently is because of a generation gap. I shared this idea with my mom who started flapping her arms around and saying all kinds of nonsense, quoting bogus "studies," and telling me about how thousands of people overdose on Marijuana a year. Nice try mom.

So, Marijuana for recreational use is now legal (according to state law) in Colorado AND Washington. Good for them. The tide is slowly but surely turning.

The stupid is already there. Pot is easier to get than the flu. Give me a break. If the masses are already doing it clandestinely, then may as well generate some revenue here in the U.S. instead of sending all of our drug money across the border into Mexico/Canada.

    Tax and regulate.

I agree. I think it's a good thing. The Feds need to pull their heads outta their arses and do the practical thing.

Who wants to invest in a dispensary with me? I have plenty of guns so don't worry about the business being robbed.

It's a great idea. Unfortunately Utah would probably maintain an illegal stance towards it even if it was legalized by the Feds.
