Keen Gorge Boots?

Has anyone used these in a canyon yet? They were made for kayaking but look pretty sturdy and have the neoprene for warmth.

Keen makes a pretty good boot but wanted some input if anyone has used them.

It's sticky rubber that is the beginning of a good canyoneering shoe, not warmth.

I would be amazed if a paddling shoe manufacturer spent the money to incorperate sticky rubber.

I disagree with Ice on one point, but...

Sticky rubber it might have, being that walking on slipper rocks carrying a kayak is challenging in a way that sticky rubber helps. However, the full description at Keen:

mentions "non-marking rubber" and the word sticky is not to be found. So, it does not.

Sounds like a good shoe for its intended purpose. But not for canyoneering.

I appreciate the input. I can get a pair for pretty cheap so I might give them a shot and report back. It does mention the non-marking rubber but in the description it says it will grip the most slippery surfaces. Who knows?
