    Very Awesome!
You can't see anything from a car; you've got to get out of the goddamn
contraption and walk, better yet crawl, on hands and knees, over the sandstone
and through the thornbrush and cactus. When traces of blood begin to mark your
trail, you'll see something, maybe. ~Edward Abbey

Great trip report. Thanks for sharing it. Photos were great! On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being "easy" and 10 being "extremely strenuous" what score would you give the MIA exit?

We did Kolob on the first day of our trip with fresh legs which made a difference. We did Icebox at the end of the week and my legs were screaming on the approach and on the flat 7 mile hike out.

My group had diverse conditioning. I would rate it as an 8, my buddy would rate it as a 5, and my other buddy would rate it as a 15 (cramping quads all of the way). The climb out reminded me of the initial climb out of Fat Man’s but for an hour or two. One thing is for sure, Sofia Vergara is definitely higher on the scale than MIA. Not sure what Iceaxe was thinking....

The scale is based on difficultly of obtaining said goal.... so I can understand how you would have more difficulty than I.

Assuming that you have made many trips up MIA. So.....that would mean how many trips to Sofia????
