What are some of the best Slot canyons to hike in the winter?
we are looking to do a few, but don't really want to use Dry Suits, and I probably can't make it to Hawaii ;)

I have done Medieval Chamber, Tierdrop, U-turn, Entrajo, and the Fiery Furnace in the Moab area. What are your thoughts about other winter slot canyons in that area?
Anyone up for showing me Lomatium?
What are some of the best routes to do in the roost? I have spent most of my time in the Swell, Moab, and Zion's (hehe i mean, Zion)CanyoneeringUtah.blogspot.com

In the Zion area Keyhole and Pinecreek are decent winter canyons, short enough that GOOD wetsuits are sufficient. Mystery has one spot that gets a little hairy, as in the canyon was blocked by a wall of ice that had to be broken through with a rock and then crawled through, but was fun (also the best time of year to get a permit ). Middle Echo on a mild snow year.

A number in the Marble Cliff area of the Grand Canyon were great last year, but most places in Utah didn't see much of a winter last year.
You can't see anything from a car; you've got to get out of the goddamn
contraption and walk, better yet crawl, on hands and knees, over the sandstone
and through the thornbrush and cactus. When traces of blood begin to mark your
trail, you'll see something, maybe. ~Edward Abbey

Death Valley is good in February, when the days start getting reasonably long...
Perhaps you have heard of FreezeFest - the bad idea that caught on... ???
