    Morning Glory Spire, Sedona, AZ

Some of my climbing buddies from back home in Virginia recently visited me here in Flagstaff, AZ. We went down to Sedona and made an ascent of Morning Glory Spire. Some people climb it unroped (supposely class 4, but I think its really 5.1 or so), but we played it safe and roped up. They really enjoyed it, as there is nothing like this back home.

It has one of the greatest summits in the area. I shot this footage with my GoPro. Enjoy.

I say good job roping up. Why not? Hard to say with the wide angle view, but it looks rope worthy to me. (nice vid). I was a bit confused by your title at first. We have a morning glory spire hear at City of Rocks. That one in AZ is obviously beautiful. The problem with ours is that it is very popular as is all of City of Rocks. This pic is from Sept last year and there were groups qued up and waiting all day. It looks like you had a day to yourselves. Nice.
