Wow, looks great. Still have bad memories of a crash in Icebox back in the 90s where I wound up in the creek. No big deal then but this old man doesn't bounce off the ground like he used too, LOL!! The trails up on Snowbasin are sooo much better now....but also much more crowded.

Too bad there was some haze up there, we couldn't figure out where it was coming from but it was messing up the pictures a bit.

    Same ride, different video

My video from last night (Friday, September 21st). Exact same route - Maples trailhead, Sardine clockwise, Wheeler to Icebox to Pineview.

Cool. It's a shame these colors will be gone very quickly though. Is that your dog?

    Nice dismount

The leaves are changing fast, I've been up there about 3 times over the past week and each day the maples are more and more red. My dog was hiking up Wheeler from the dam with my wife, and he ran down the last mile with me.

The slow-speed loss of balance wrecks are the most humbling, especially when there's a large embankment. The exposed hairpin halfway down icebox on the east side of the river always has my full attention.

I was only able to start clearing that one this year. The penalty is pretty intimidating.
