Nice TR. Looks wetter than "normal" (then again maybe the only thing normal about slots is how they change).
Utah is a very special and unique place. There is no where else like it on earth. Please take care of it and keep the remaining wild areas in pristine condition. The world will be a better place if you do.

Nice TR! Clever way to tackle that longer rappel.
However, dropping into that pothole just using webbing looks sketchy. Why not set up a second, shorter piece of webbing for everyone to rap down on?
I like the pic of the scorpion. Do you always have a black light when you head out into the desert?THE MOST TALKED ABOUT CANYONEERING TRIP OF 2017 - WEST CANYON VIA HELICOPTER.

The first three of us did just as you say, roped down into the first pothole. If it were a different group of people all of us would have, Monica has a lot of experience and using the webbing was the most convenient choice (its not fun at all rappelling down a long piece of webbing and it is not recommended, this first drop is really only 15 feet or so).
