American Fork Canyon
@RedSpecialized and I got out today with another friend. We had a great day riding two loops. It was challenging and boy could I smell clutch when @RedSpecialized was finished with uphill climbs.

Nice picts. If you want to ride let's ride and if you want an attitude well we just need to do some more ridding.

Re: American Fork Canyon
In terms of challenge, how did this trail compare with the Ben lomond ride that we went on earlier ?

American Fork Canyon
Hmmmm. Our first loop had some tough sections. I'd rate some of it 8 on a 10 scale. BL had a 9 section, just those switchbacks though as I recall. I'd say overall they are pretty similar, but BL is tougher on that switchback section. Yet AF has some pretty technical stuff too. Steep climbs over soccer ball sized rocks. Ask Ben about that...
Our second loop was 6 or 7 out of 10.

Re: American Fork Canyon
I think Scott might be confused with onther ride he did before, I'm sure they were all 10's or higher. At least that is what it seemded like to me. I appreciate scott letting me tag along and having the patience to wait for my slow behind. It was a fun day forme though and I did get the clutch smoking a few times. Just glad Scott didn't post all the pics he took.

I think that I would prefer riding the 038 trail on my mountainbike before attempting the impossible on a motorcycle.

I lost my little map
So were is 38 or 038 and I wonder if I hit any of it with the boys when I had a chance at it?
Seems to me there was a very washed out trail with 2 or 3 small water crossings that might be this one but I just don't know.If you want to ride let's ride and if you want an attitude well we just need to do some more ridding.

Maybe when I can ride the Ben lomond switch backs without dabbing a foot than I will be ready for #38 .
