8/4/12 - Down Quandary (bypass) and Up Knotted Rope
From Jeff on his youtube page:
"The Swell finally got some water so we decided to go down and play in the water! I've done Knotted Rope when it was dry and wanted to do it when it was wet so we decided to go down Quandary (Bypass) and up Knotted Rope. It was a long and hot day. The water felt so good! No wetsuits were were needed. I drank all 3 liters of my water by the end, which rarely happens so bring a purifier if you drink a lot! Bypass was ok, but I will definitely do Quandary (direct) next time. I like the technical Pothole work. A wetsuit will be needed for that one. :)"
Enjoy the vid!

Definitely some nice video work. I think even the helmet police would agree. You really captured the spirit of canyoneering!

Thanks! Btw, the elevation note at the end is obviously incorrect. Lol -11k ft. Just remove 10,000 and you'll get the right number.
Edit: perhaps not. It seems a little high, but after talking to Jeff just barely - he said the GPS didn't stop recording (and it's been accurate on all other other trips). That's a LOT of elevation change...but stil..it doesn't "seem" like it is 11k. uh...oh well●Canyoneering 'Canyon Conditions' @ www.candition.com

On the topo it looks like about 1000ft vertical from the car to the end of Quandary.

Thanks guys! That's means a lot.
The temps were in the high 90s. But the water was more bathtub warm!
It was amazing because our first trip through Knotted Rope going down was completely dry back in April (see Jeff's YouTube channel for it) and then this was completely full. Lots of swimmers.●Canyoneering 'Canyon Conditions' @ www.candition.com

Just awesome guys!!! Make it look so easy (or is that the editing?). Seriously, wish I was doing canyons back when I was your age. Keep the vids coming!!
We did both (separately) in May when dry. Need to catch when wet.
