11th Annual 9/11 tribute hike,Flag Rock Farmington UT

Part of an annual gathering to remember the fallen. We will gather at the Farmington firehouse. We have two minutes of silence once for the time each of the planes hit the towers. The Farmington Fire cheif says a few words and those hiking to flag rock head off. Flag Rock stands the height of the former world trade center towers. Also meet Randy West - one of the founders of this hike and trail cheif. You do not need to make the hike to attend this event.
This is an Annual Event. Come join us on the morning of 9/11 as we remember those lost. This is the AM hike.
    Approximately 4 miles round trip.
We meet at the Farmington Firehouse located at
    82 North 100 east,
    Farmington, Utah, 84025
You do not need to make the hike, come join us at the morning ceremony.
Attendees should arrive between 6:15 and 6:30 am. At 6:45 AM the school bell will ring once followed by a minute of silence. This is the time the first tower was hit by the plane. Then we will have a photo opportunity and chance to talk and meet everyone.
At 7:03 another school bell will ring followed by another minute of silence to remember the time the second plane hit the towers.
Then the Farmington fire cheif will say a few words before those making the trek to flag rock head off.
Flag rock stands the height of the former world trade center. This is a great opportunity to see what the view was like from up top. It will also help understand what the fire fighters endured as they walked the stairs up to rescue those in the towers.
