    How to backflush MSR gravitational water filtering system

    So, I've got this filter, which I've used once last year and I haven't yet backflushed it. Supposedly you're supposed to use a compatible clean water device (hydration bag or water bottle) to pour clean water back through the filter in the opposite direction. So any of you who have this system, what are the compatible brands (besides MSR) and how has this worked for you?
