    Subway hike on Sep 15

    Hi
we will be hiking around Utah and AZ for 3 weeks and we got a permit to the subway hike on SEP 15

is there anyone here visiting that day as well and would like to join a 30+ years old couple? ;-) the idea is to leave one car at trailhead and one at the end and possibly hike together (if not also ok, we can just join forces for the sake of carpooling)

    Cheers :-)

Do you have open spots on you permit? If so, how many? I'm always good for a run through the subway. I just hate dealing with permits.

Uh, just in case your car pool search doesn't go well; it's usually pretty easy to hitch from the trail's end back to your car.

Hmmmmmmm. I would go the other way, hitching up to the top, in the morning. People driving up the road know the score. My longest wait to date has been about 5 minutes. (A good reason to get an early start).

i agree with tom i have hitched subway probably 5 times and it is always best in the morning when your not dirty and stinky.
IT ALWAYS LOOKS HIGHER FROM THE TOP!!!!
