Benson Creek. July 28 or 29

A bunch of my family is going camping up Paragonah canyon from the 27th until the 31st. We have never done Benseon Creek and so a few of us are going to take our gear and go over there on Saturday or Sunday. Part of our family is the Benson family and they are from Parowan so I'm also trying to do some research as to how it got the name of Benson Creek since it is only about 10 miles up Parowan canyon. If anybody wishes to join us you are welcome to, and also if anybody has any history of the canyon it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Kody

Grew up in parowan and spent ALOT of time up there. Curious to know the history also. Old no. 7 may have some info for us?!??
