    Knotted Rope July 9, 2012

What a BLAST! It rained 3 days before our trip and all the potholes were full of muddy water. We were flopping from one hole to the next. Never had to bypass any of the potholes because we wanted to be in all of them. The top foot of the potholes were hot tub warm so we mixed the pools with the cold water from lower and the temperature was just right. We did a bunch of cliff jumping from 20 feet into the potholes. The hike out Muddy Creek to the Landing Strip was a bit long for our youngsters (15 yrs old) but they all survived and loved it! Didn't use harness or rope the whole time.

Awesome. Great canyon when full of water, not so good when not.

Awesome pics! Thanks for sharing. We did this canyon last year with a 10% chance of rain, and got caught in an electrical storm.

You hit it the conditions perfect.

Nice! I'm jealous, everything we've done this year has been bone dry. I suppose this means Quandary would also be full of water...

Nice! I love hitting the canyons after they have flashed. It is about as close to swimming in Wonka's chocolate river as you can get!
