Hey Danali if we can get you into some kind of a ride, Lets try.
I have a 450 that is a bit easier in the dirt and if you have gear to ride or not we can get you covered one way or the other to keep things safe.
Just a thought but maybe I'm way off and you already ride the dirt stuff?
These guys are great to ride with for sure. No man is ever left behind and they have the patience to make it all work when needed.
Please come give it a go if you can. You will enjoy it for sure.
And even though I give the KLR some shit it will work everywere we ride if you can.
The thing is when you need a 8mm wrench and all you have is a crecent wrench it will still work but you end up fighting it a little and the end result just takes more time.Worcs racing sucks and Speed Channal blows so support your blue ribbon coalition.

would love to go out for a ride with you. unfortunately i am in alaska right now, well not really that unfortunate. maybe in the fall if i get down that way.
a buddy of mine with a drz 400 and i were the first over a pass in the la sals between moab and parawon this spring. we had to push our bikes through several snow drifts the last 200 yards. what a bitch that was.
used to ride the dirt years ago. i had a yamaha 360 enduro and a hodaka ace 100 when i was in high school. that was in the mid 70's. they were fun.
the thing i like most about the klr is that you can go anywhere in the world and find parts, since the model didn't change for 20 years. the mileage is great too. i get 45mpg just crusing along at 75.
you mentioned my metal cans. hey, they were cheap. a deal at $30 each. so i am in for $60. of course they are heavier than aluminum but the aluminum ones cost over ten times that amount. something like $750 a pair. did i mention they were cheap?I can see your point, but you are still full of shit!

Right on I know that they are the go to bike for world riding and have be for a long time.
They are called the poor mans BMW for a reason.
But you have to admit they are very heavy for the power and like all bikes have their issues to be aware of.
but when I seen this vid I had no choice but laugh.
So maybe in the fall then ????Worcs racing sucks and Speed Channal blows so support your blue ribbon coalition.

I'd buy a KLR or DR over an XR any day. Take it from me, and I've done a lot of multi-day dirt trips. Those little bikes are great for handling and speed but when it come to tank-like toughness and comfort they lose out every time. I looked long and hard at the KLR, DR, & XR before finally settling on the DR.
And can someone explain to me why mtn seeker has to post 5 times in a row? Calm down, take your time, and put it all into one post. You can do it!beefcake. BEEFCAKE!
