    Beyond The Depths- Movie

Not really a trip report but there were certainly many trips in this short video! Here are some of the highlights: Subway, Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe bend, Kanarraville creek, Calf Creek Falls...just to name a few! enjoy

Beyond The Depths is a cinematic visual journey through the Desert Southwest. Directed and Produced by RJ Hooper, a professional photographer published with National Geographic. Exploring and capturing images of the Southwest for over a decade, he is now pursuing motion pictures of some of the most mysterious and awe-inspiring locations. From the depths of incredible slot canyons to the peaks of the Great Basin, this film will combine amazing landscape footage with epic music to provide the viewer with a High Definition hypnotic experience.

With a release date of spring 2013 he will be spending most of his time on the road (and trail) to capture motion pictures of the Southwest. He is using a variety of HD DSLR cameras, motion control devices, and other cinema equipment to capture the beauty of the southwest like never before!

With the hopes that this film is successful, RJ hopes to shoot Beyond the Depths II with a 4k Digital Cinema Camera. 4k is an ultra high resolution HD video format that is 4 times the size of HD. Not necessary for average TV, but rather a large theater screen such as IMAX.
