    Coyote Gulch/ Boy Scouts

After enjoying a Coyote Gulch backpack earlier this year, was terribly disappointed to find out, while I was down there again last week, working on a russian olive eradication crew, that a group of boy scouts, apparently testing to see just how flamable those wood shavings were, burned the very nice and state of the art outhouse at Jacob Hamblin Arch to the ground. The ranger I spoke with said that it had cost them over $100,000. to build and have it choppered in to its location there, no word on any time table for a possible replacement. The investigation continues with plans to prosecute the little buggers.
