    Engelstead/Orderville Permit

Is an Orderville permit needed to do Engelstead and exit down through Orderville and out the Narrows, or do I just need an Engelstead permit?

I called the backcountry desk and asked this question. The person I talked to said she would strongly suggest reserving both permits, but that I will only need one permit.

When you reserve your englestead permit it will ask you whether you are going up or down orderville. That is the only permit you will need

To bad folks can't get proper answers form those managing the land.

As I've mentioned in the past.... the BC desk is happy to sell you a permit for anything you request, even permits that are not required.
