Russell Gulch requires a separate Pristine Zone Permit
I asked the Park for clarification on the status of Russell Gulch. This is the result:

However, it is not much-traveled, and has a 20-person quota - thus it should not be much of a problem to add to your Subway permit when you pick that up, assuming your group size (for the Russell Gulch section) is 6 persons or less.

Interesting. A group I know of 12 went down the subway through RG last month. As far as I know, they were clear about their route and the desk didn't say peep?
