    Anyone been in the Uintas the last week or two?

    I'm thinking of taking my son on an over nighter in Naturalist Basin this weekend. Wondering if anyone knows what the conditions might be like. I saw the thread from May 12-13. There will still be snow but I think I should be able to find some dry spots to camp. I'm hoping the lakes will be open so my son can do some fishing.

    I just stumbled upon this forum. Looks like a great resource.

    I took a ride up yesterday. Hiked Mt. Cardwell, Murdock Mtn., and a loop around Fehr, shepard, and hoover lakes (all open). There was some snow, but nothing impassible. I'm not sure where exactly Naturalist Basin is or the elevation there, but there was very little snow (lots of mud though) around the murdock basin lakes.
