Ouray Canyons - Lower Oak Creek

Lower Oak Creek water level is good but you will get pounded on the second half of the first rappel, the bottom of the 170 ft rappel, and perhaps one or two others. There is a dead mountain sheep about 100 yds past the 170 ft rappel. I was alone and already maxed out with gear so I could not remove it. Unfortunately I will be out of town until June 24 and won't be back in the canyon until then. A heavy rain could wash it down stream but it will take alot of water to wash it out of the canyon.

The rest of the canyon is in good condition.
